How to Make the Malfoid Fem Malfoy Video From One Photo

Malfoid is the internet name for a female Draco Malfoy fan look: platinum hair, robe and a slow smug smirk.

The Malfoid trend started as fan art. Drawings of Draco Malfoy as a girl go back to at least 2011, but the name and the wave came in September 2026: on 22 September, X user @redteneri posted an anime-style female Draco Malfoy teasing Harry Potter, and it passed 89,000 likes in a week.

Where the trend came from

  • X user @redteneri posts an anime-style drawing of a female Draco Malfoy teasing Harry Potter; it passes 89,000 likes in a week.
  • @masoq095 posts three Malfoid drawings that get 78,000 likes in a day, and a Reddit meme gives the character a first name, Draconia.
  • Cosplayers bring the look to TikTok: @anong.23's Malfoid cosplay transition, from a striped T-shirt to the platinum wig and the robe, gets 90,500 views.
  • US Google interest in "malfoid" peaks, after 33,100 US searches in September.
  • AI fan-film shorts of Malfoid spread on TikTok; a repost of one series, posted the next day, passes 1.4 million views.
  • #malfoid holds 8,861 TikTok videos and 237 million views, after a cosplay makeup transition passed 1.4 million plays on 16 October.

Before you start

You will need one photo. Photo tips that matter for this template:

  • Face the camera from the chest up, in soft daylight. The video ends on a close-up of your smirk, so a sharp face matters most.
  • Any hair works: long, short, curly or dark. The AI turns it platinum and combs it back, while your face, skin tone and eye color stay yours.
  • No sunglasses, no hat and no beauty filter. Glasses are fine and stay on.
  • One person per photo, and an adult. Use your own photo or one of an adult friend who said yes. Never a child, a celebrity or a stranger.

What happens in the clip

| Time | Beat | |---|---| | 0–3s | | You — | You, as in your photo: your own hair, clothes and place, with a bored face. You sweep one hand slowly across the lens. | | | 2–5s | | Now you have platinum slic — | Now you have platinum slicked-back hair, the black robe with the emerald-green lining, a white shirt, a grey sweater and a green and silver tie, in a candl… | | 5–8s | | You flick the platinum hai — | You flick the platinum hair over one shoulder and raise one eyebrow. | | | 7–10s | | Arms crossed — | Arms crossed, a wand in one hand, a slow, smug smirk into the camera. | |

If something looks off

  • --- — ---
  • Your face changes after the cut — Use a sharper, front-facing photo in good light, then run it again. A side view or a dark photo loses the face first.
  • You look younger than you are — The prompt keeps your age. Run it again with a recent, well-lit photo.
  • The hair keeps its old color — Run it again: the platinum look is the change, and a very dark or covered head of hair can hold on. A photo with the hair in view helps.
