What is the AI Grandma Parkour trend, and where did it start?

Older people doing stunts have been a feel-good favorite for years. In April 2025 a clip of a Singaporean woman in her 60s doing parkour in a playground went viral; one TikTok repost alone passed 130,000 views.

Photo requirements for AI Grandma Parkour

• The whole body or at least from the waist up, standing, in good light, the face clear and looking at the camera.
• Their own clothes stay. A cardigan, a long skirt, a headscarf or a tracksuit from the photo stays in the video, and they get sneakers for the run.
• One person per photo, no sunglasses, no hat that hides the face.
• Ask before you use someone's photo, and only use photos of adults. Never a celebrity, a stranger or a child.

Troubleshooting AI Grandma Parkour

• --- — ---
• The face is hard to see in the parkour dives — The dives are fast and face-down. The prompt shows the face large at the start and at the end. Use a close, sharp photo and run it again.
• The person looks younger than in the photo — The prompt keeps the age from the photo. A photo in soft light with the face clearly visible keeps it best.
• A stumble or an odd landing — The prompt bans falls, but some runs get a vault wrong. Run it again.
