What this template does

What is the Heaven Hug AI trend, and where did it start?

The heaven hug lives in two common edit apps templates. The stairway version comes from "Un deseo", a Father's Day template from June 2026 with more than 820,000 uses: you run up a stairway of golden light, and the person you miss waits at the top.

Photo requirements for Heaven Hug AI

• Clear, sharp faces that look at the camera, in good light. A photo from the waist up works best.
• Your loved one at the age you want to remember. The video keeps the age in the photo.
• Old prints are fine. Lay the print flat and photograph it with no glare. A black-and-white photo comes out in natural color.
• Two people in photo 2, like your grandparents, wait together, and you hug them both.
• Only you in photo 1. Crop a group photo first.

Troubleshooting Heaven Hug AI

• --- — ---
• A face does not look like the photo — Use a sharp photo that looks at the camera, in good light. For an old print, photograph it flat with no glare. Then run it again.
• Your loved one looks younger or older than you hoped — The video keeps the age in the photo. Pick a photo from the time you want to remember.
• The two faces look alike or mix — Use only one person in photo 1, and run it again.
