How to Make the White Chicks Thousand Miles Video With Two Photos

The movie car gag: the driver sings at full voice while the passenger with a tiny dog stares harder and harder.

The scene comes from the 2004 comedy White Chicks by the Wayans brothers. Terry Crews's character drives a convertible at night and sings Vanessa Carlton's 2002 hit "A Thousand Miles" with total commitment, while his date holds her little dog and glares.

Where the trend came from

• White Chicks comes out. In its car scene the driver sings "A Thousand Miles" at full voice while his date holds a Pomeranian and glares.
• During the World Cup, AI edits that put football stars in the car spread on TikTok; one passes 913,500 views.
• A creator posts her own AI version of the car scene with two familiar faces: 401,900 views and 21,900 likes.
• A real-life series of the scene with strangers in other cars passes 62.2 million views and 9.4 million likes.
• A singing pug version made with AI passes 194,600 views; AI cat versions follow the same week.
• RemixMeme adds the template: a Duo version with two photos and a Pet version.

Before you start

You will need two photos (one person each). Photo tips that matter for this template:

• One person per photo, face to the camera, sharp and in good light. The close-ups are big, so a clear face matters most.
• You keep your own hair and clothes. Nobody gets a costume, a wig or makeup from the film. A hat only shows up if it is in the photo.
• Pet: a clear photo of your dog or cat with the whole head, the eyes and the ears in view. Your pet drives and sings; a deadpan little dog takes the passenger seat.
• Use your own photos or photos of adults who said yes. Never a celebrity, a stranger or a child.

What happens in the clip

| Time | Beat | |---|---| | 0–4s | | A wide shot from the hood — | A wide shot from the hood: the driver sings from the first second, head bobbing, and grins at the passenger, who clutches the dog, stares, then goes stiff … | | 3–6s | | A close-up of the passenge — | A close-up of the passenger: a slow, tired blink and a long, deadpan side-stare | | | 5–11s | | A long close-up of the dri — | A long close-up of the driver: singing straight at the passenger, the big high note with the chin up, then a finger to the temple and a smug grin | | | 10–12s | | The passenger again — | The passenger again, the little dog held low, looking up at the driver, completely done | |

If something looks off

• --- — ---
• The wrong person drives — Photo 1 is always the driver who sings. Swap your photos.
• A face looks less like the photo — Use sharp, front-facing photos in even light, one person per photo, and run it again.
• The passenger smiles or sings along — Every run is a new take. Run it again: the passenger is asked to stay deadpan the whole time.
