Barbie and Raquelle AI Trend: You as a 3D Doll Cartoon
The Barbie and Raquelle trend is the TikTok slideshow where the top half shows a 3D cartoon doll and the bottom half shows you in the same pose.

What this template does

The Barbie and Raquelle trend is the TikTok slideshow where the top half shows a 3D cartoon doll and the bottom half shows you in the same pose.

What is the Barbie and Raquelle AI Trend trend, and where did it start?

The trend started on TikTok in early October 2026 as photo slideshows. Each slide puts a still of Raquelle, the glamorous brunette rival from the animated web series Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse (2012 to 2015), above a photo of the poster copying her pose, outfit and face.

Barbie and Raquelle AI Trend trend timeline

2012-01-20Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse, a web series of CGI-animated shorts, starts on YouTube; it runs to 27 November 2015 and gives the trend its two dolls.
2026-10-06@67mrvee posts a nine-slide Raquelle slideshow: a still of the brunette doll on top, herself in the same pose below. It has 75,600 views by 16 October.
2026-10-11@xgk5o9 shares the AI way to do it: keep your pose and turn your own selfie into the show's 3D cartoon style with an image model, then post it as a slideshow.
2026-10-12US Google searches for "barbie and raquelle" and "raquelle barbie" reach their peak of the last 30 days; @amela.jez's bestie post from the same day passes 368,900 views.
2026-10-13@kenz_delong posts a bestie pair under a still of the two dolls; it reaches 1.3 million views and 324,600 likes by 16 October, the biggest post of the trend we found.

Photo requirements for Barbie and Raquelle AI Trend

Strike a pose. The doll copies it exactly: a hand in your hair, a pout, a wink, a phone mirror selfie or a hand on your chin. The pose is the joke of the trend.
Face the camera in good light. The doll keeps what it can see: your face shape, eye color, skin tone, hair, glasses and piercings.
Wear the outfit you want on your doll. Your clothes, jewelry and their colors carry over, and so does your background.
Besties: both faces in view, close together, nobody cut off at the edge.
Use your own photo, or a photo of a friend who said yes. Never a celebrity or a stranger.

Troubleshooting Barbie and Raquelle AI Trend

What goes wrong — What our prompt does, and what you can do
--- — ---
The halves do not line up — Both halves use the same crop, centered on the face and upper body. A waist-up photo lines up best
The real photo below looks retouched — The prompt asks for your photo exactly as it is, only cropped. Run it again if it drifts
