What this template does

The Jawn dance is the TikTok trend set to Jerri's song "The JAWN": a drink at your chest, a scratch of the neck, a deadpan wait for the beat to drop, then a grin and a bounce.

What is the The Jawn Dance trend, and where did it start?

"The JAWN" is a 2026 dance track by Jerri; posts asking fans to pre-save it went up on 26 May 2026. "Jawn" is Philadelphia slang for almost anything, so the trend's name, "that's the jawn", means "that's the one".

Photo requirements for The Jawn Dance

• Human: stand up, with at least your head to your knees in view and the face turned to the camera. Hold a cup, a glass or a can at your chest: the whole joke is the drink. Your other arm should hang…
• The video keeps the place and the frame of your photo. A backyard, a balcony or a party in the background looks most like the trend.
• Wear what you want to dance in: your clothes stay. No sunglasses, no mask, no beauty filter, and nobody else in the photo.
• Pet: a sharp photo with the whole animal in view and the face clear. Fur colors and markings come from the photo; the glass of orange juice comes from the reel.
• This template is for adults and pets. Use a photo of yourself, of an adult who agreed, or of your own pet. Never a celebrity or a stranger.

Troubleshooting The Jawn Dance

• --- — ---
• There is no drink in your hand (Human) — The prompt asks for a glass, but the photo wins. Take the photo with a cup or a glass at your chest.
• The face stays calm the whole time (Human) — The deadpan-then-grin acting comes from the skit, but it varies. Run it again with a sharp, front-facing photo.
• A black top or a floral skirt shows up (Human) — The woman in the skit wears both. The prompt bans them unless your photo has them; run it again.
