What this template does

The perdon trend is the TikTok AI vs reality photo trend: first a perfect AI photo of you ("esta soy yo"), then the real photo with the word "perdón" (sorry).

What is the Perdon Trend trend, and where did it start?

The perdon trend is a joke about AI photo edits. You post a carousel. The first slide is an AI version of your photo that is just a bit too good, captioned "esta soy yo" (this is me): playing in a stadium, sitting in a luxury house, with glossy salon hair.

Photo requirements for Perdon Trend

• The more ordinary, the better the joke. Your living room, the local court, the bus stop, a messy desk. The AI turns that place into the dream version.
• Show the face clearly, in normal light, with no sunglasses. The AI keeps your face, age, hair color and body shape, so your friends still see it is you.
• Any pose works. The perfect photo keeps the same pose and angle, which makes the side by side funnier.
• Use your own photo, or your own pet. Adults only: never a child, a celebrity or a stranger. The joke is on you.

Troubleshooting Perdon Trend

• --- — ---
• The perfect photo does not look like you — Use a sharp photo with your face large and in good light. Every run is a new take.
• The place did not change much — Run it again. A plain, everyday background gives the AI more to upgrade.
• It is too perfect to be funny — That is the point: the real photo after it is the punchline. Pick your most ordinary real photo.
