Wipe Me Down AI Video from 1 Photo

What this dance effect does

Animates your full-body photo into the Wipe Me Down dance in your own scene — low bounce, hands flicking the floor, hops and arm swings. One photo; head-to-toes beats face-only crops.

What is the Wipe Me Down trend, and where did it start?

The dance is older than the AI wave. Baltimore creator Carnell Nichols has stomped to the 2007 rap song “Wipe Me Down” on TikTok since at least June 2020, and he calls it the Carnell stomp. From 2023 his green-screen dance battles pushed it to millions of views. In summer 2026 a kitchen duet clip brought the moves back into feeds; AI one-photo dance templates followed.

Best photo tips for this dance

• Head-to-toes standing shot when you can — knees and feet drive the stomp.
• Arms free, facing camera, some floor below and space above for hops.
• One adult only; soft daylight; no sunglasses / hood over the eyes.
• Tight headshots fail — the wipe needs shoulders, arm travel, and visible legs.

Common failure reasons

• Cropped-at-chest / waist-up only — legs look stiff or invented.
• Busy multi-person group shots.
• Face-fills-frame selfies (use full-body framing instead).
• No floor under the feet or no headroom for hops.
