What this template does

The gang gang dance is the viral AI dance battle of autumn 2026: a slow, cocky hip-hop freestyle from a real battle that AI clips handed to Jean Phil, then to everyone.

What is the Gang Gang Dance AI trend, and where did it start?

The moves come from a hip-hop dance battle. The Belgian freestyle dancer Doyah (@doyahtreize) dances a slow, confident round to a West Coast rap song with a "gang gang" hook: a low crouch with the arms reaching down, swings and leans, a long look up at the lights, and a finish with one hand on the hip and the other at the chin.

Photo requirements for Gang Gang Dance AI

• Head to toes, standing. The dance is crouches, leans and steps, so a full-body photo gives the best legs and shoes. With a waist-up photo, the model has to make up the rest.
• On stage: you dance on the clip's blue-lit battle stage, in the clothes from your photo. Keep the face sharp and turned to the camera.
• Your place: you dance in your photo's own place, so pick a photo with some room around you, like a street, a hall or a living room.
• Good light, no sunglasses, no hat over the face and nobody else in the photo.
• Use your own photo or a photo of an adult who said yes. Never a celebrity or a stranger.

Troubleshooting Gang Gang Dance AI

• --- — ---
• A neon ski suit, ski gloves or chunky white boots show up (On stage) — The dancer in the clip wears them. The prompt bans them unless your photo has them; run it again.
• The face looks more like the clip's dancer than you (On stage) — Use a sharp, well-lit photo with your face turned to the camera, then run it again.
• The legs look stiff or the feet slide (Your place) — Use a full-body photo where you stand. With a waist-up photo, the model has to make up your legs.
